Objective:
A. Condition: Students have basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and are ready to apply it in a practical project.
B. Behavior: Students will demonstrate their understanding of Microsoft Word by creating a well-structured research paper on a Musical Artist or Athlete of their choice.
C. Measure: Completion and submission of the research paper, adhering to the specified formatting and organizational guidelines.
Language Objective:
· Students will showcase their proficiency in creating a well-organized document, utilizing Microsoft Word's formatting tools to structure their research effectively.
Instruction:
A. Do Now: A new “Do Now” will be posted on the digital display screen before the class, focusing on the importance of research and organization in writing.
B. Anticipatory Set: Discuss the significance of well-structured documents. Show examples of professionally formatted research papers, emphasizing the role of organization and formatting.
C. Teacher Instruction, Guided Practice & Model:
· Outline the project's objectives, tasks, and assessment criteria.
· Provide a step-by-step guide on creating a title page, table of contents, and using headings for sections.
· Showcase visual examples of well-structured research papers for reference.
